Birth
Boris van Dijk was born on the beautiful winter day of January 29th 3060 GST in the city of New Valkeria. At this time, the capital city of the Terran Federation to Robert van Dijk and Marie van Dijk.
Family background
Marie and Robert van Dijk were born in The Waterland region of Genesis Prime, a region known to speak Waterlands, which is close to Earths Dutch. Boris' family were a pacifist, but very xenophobic farmers family. Unfortunately most records of the van Dijk family are corrupted at this point.
Childhood
Boris van Dijk went to Elementary school "De Beek" when he became 4. His teachers were impressed by his skill to quickly make friends, even with classmates who had a completely different culture. Most notably, a Omegian[1] boy, who has been mostly excluded form the rest of the group.
Middle School
At the Age of 12 years old, Boris enrolled into Rover Middle school. He chose extracurricular activities with leadership, tactics and ethics after being inspired by a guest speaker from the Federation Department of Defence. He graduated Rover middle school as Valedictorian at 16 in the class of 3076.
High school
The young Boris enrolled into the premil[2] program of the New Valkerian High school. While he had difficulties with PE, he excelled at leadership abilities to a point that the Federation Admiral Dwane Light took interest into his abilities. Boris was popular among his peers. He graduated from the premil[2] program in 3079 at 19 years old.
Further education
After graduation form New Valkerian, Boris was approached by Dwane Light directly, he offered to mentor the young man and fund this scholarship to the Horizon Academy Basic Military Training course (BMT) which Boris accepted.
Horizon Academy
Boris enrolled into BMT on the 30th of August 3076 where he met Jack Light for the first time. BMT was different to other education Boris had before as every homeroom class acted as a military unit. He moved away from his parents for the first time in his life. His mother did not like her son pursuing a military career, but his father did. He was assigned to the same dorm as Jack Light. Freshmen, Sophomore and Junior years went by quickly with Boris sharpening his marksmanship, fitness and leadership skills.
Senior year
In his senior year, Boris was assigned a internship with the Kanukai Defense Force, as all Seniors must complete a internship with a military entity. The Kanukai were friendly to the Federation at the time. Boris was taught to be respectful to all intelligent species, whatever their background, he was also trained in Kanukai traditional staff combat, which is comparable to human martial arts.
Boris graduated in 3080 with an examplary service record from his internship. After graduating he joined the Federation Officer Academy to earn his military officer commendation.
Officer Academy
Due to Boris' track record and a recommendation from Dwane Light he was accepted into the officer academy, where he was trained into an officer in just one year.

Federation Service Record (continued)
Boris van Dijk Climbed the ranks quickly due to unrivalled professionalism and duty. He was awarded the chrome star for saving the Nix III colony from a pirate attack with Neptune Squadron alone in 2083. At this time, Robert Vandalez became the new Federation Chancellor, who was known for his hate to the Kanukai People. The Kanukai Confederation severed all ties to the Federation as a result.
On the 16th of December 3089, The Kanukai Confederation Formally declared war with the Terran Federation after a Kanukai medical ship was destroyed at the border by Federation navy forces. Vandalez secretly ordered Project reclaimer, which created the disruptor weapon and ship class.
Blockade of Kanukai IV
Boris van Dijk was ordered to Kanukai IV on the 1st of September 3090 with the 22nd fleet. Blockade was in place a day after. After a few days, a Disruptor class ship, The Dominator, rendezvoused with the 22nd fleet. Setting Operation: Trinity[5] in motion.
After refusing to destroy Kanukai IV, he was dishonorably discharged from the navy at the 6th of September 3090. When the Military Police arrived at the 22nd fleet to arrest the Boris van DIjk, they met resistance form the entire 22nd fleet (Except Dominator). Needless to say, his arrest failed. The 22nd fleet evacuated to the Purple Glade, where it was rumored that the Prime Resistance movement was located.
